What is the TCM Development Grant
and how to go about claiming it?
Did you know, as a TCM physician in Singapore, you can claim up to $200 from the TCM Development Grant for your TCM CPE lessons? TCM clinics are also able to claim funding for clinic facilities and IT enhancements. Here is a step-by-step guide for you on claiming from the TCM Development Grant.
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Development Grant (TCMDG), announced in 2017 by the Ministry of Health Singapore (MOH), sets to further develop the Traditional Chinese Medicine sector so as to better meet the evolving needs of the Singapore population. TCMDG aims to provide funding support for training (professional development) and overall improvement on the delivery of TCM services, especially in the areas of infection control and elderly patient safety in Singapore.
Who is it for and what can be claimed?
Claim up to 80% of total course fees for courses organised by TCMPB-accredited providers capped at $200 per year

For TCM Clinics:
1. Facilities enhancement includes installation of sinks, grab bars in toilets, ramps for wheelchair access etc. Claim up to 50% of cost incurred or up to $10,000, whichever is lower
2. IT enhancement
•Patient Management Systems
•Software to support data collection and statistical analysis
•Establishment of online portals to publish information and provide online platforms for patients’ feedback
Claim up to 50% of cost incurred or up to $20,000, whichever is lower
3. IT capability enhancement includes computers, printers and scanners. Claim up to 50% of cost incurred or up to $5,000, whichever is lower
How to submit a claim for your TCM CPE?
It is very simple. Just follow these few steps.
Register and attend TCM CPE lessons conducted by TCMPB-accredited TCM CPE providers
Print out the TCM CPE history report from TCMPB Professional Registration System
Submit the TCM CPE history report and lesson receipts to the TCMDG Secretariat via the link below:
